Many people have fond memories of college and the founder of UnitK Software is no different. Long ago, at a college far far away, a bunch of poor college students got together to pool their money and rented a rundown townhouse. Those students had various parties, played tag in the dark, watched football on 5 TV's at the same time, and had many other memorable experiences. The address of that townhouse was Unit K. To this day, those college students are close friend and they all are bonded by the times they shared in that townhouse, so as an homage, the name UnitK Software was chosen when this company was born.

Perhaps it was a silly choice or perhaps those fond memories will color our company culture in a positive way. Only time will tell.
